TRANSPORTATION CLAIM

TRANSPORTATION CLAIM

Postby bigmac » Wed Aug 22, 2018 8:29 pm

We sold a bed side panel on a GM truck and it came in beat all to heck. Panel came from 051 and was the only one they had. It had been returned once before. Probably why they had it. Ordering another one would take a week or more to get and the customer is willing to repair. Been a long time sine I tried to submit a claim for repairing a panel. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get reimbursed? Thanks

Concealed Damage Sheet Metal and Fascia Repair Process (Collision Parts Only)

Info starts on page 64 of the new P&P manual that just came out. Basically you are good to go with no approval as long as the repair is LESS than 50% of the cost of the panel, otherwise you need to call and get authorization. Do the repair, fax or e-mail the paperwork and you should have a credit in a few days on your open account.
