WPC part returns. Returned in original part box only?

WPC requires all parts returned to be in their original boxes correct? I'm almost 100% sure that's how it is but it's been a bit since I've messed with my Gm dealers returns since I moved to another brand in our auto group.

We have returned several pieces not in original boxes and have had zero issues.
