Our ATD rep told us about it a few weeks ago, then again last week.

Same here, then Monday am he was here at 7:30 and set all of us up.

I just submitted this as a DFOAB 691.

This issue has to do with the functionality and lack of features of the new GM tire website, GM TIRE CENTRAL.

Better functionality:

When selecting multiple manufacturer check off boxes. the page resets after each manufacturer selection and you must "find" the next box with your mouse. Very inconvenient.

This website needs a PRINT VIEW. I need to be able to print my several choices, good, better, and best and more. Compare does not meet my needs for this. Compare contains too much information. Compare contains information about my tire suppliers that the customer should not see. We need a simplier list print view like gmdealertiresource.

Missing Features:

I need to be able to select and filter by any attribute or multiple attributes; Brand, Category (Summer, HP, UHP, All Season, Winter, etc), speed rating, load range, run flat.
(example I want to filter Speed Rating H,V)

please see tirerackwholesale dot com for a great example of this feature.

Tire look up is the most important function of GM TIRE CENTRAL website, it is more difficult and time consuming to do so.

What GM sees:
Mission accomplished.

We also need the ability to print out an answerback with order number when we order tires.

One Task the GMTIRECENTRAL can't handle is staggered tire fitment. Right now I have a 2009 STS with staggered fitment. I had to use tire rack to pick out some tires I could sell. I just emailed the help desk and asked them for recommendations for this vehicle, lets see how they do.

I ran into that with a 2016 corvette Z06 earlier this spring. I forget how I did it, but I was able to look up staggered tires.

Please post what help desk suggests. I just went through this on a 2014 (z51) Vette. I couldn't even find matching rear tires. Not size but brand and "model" of tire. Based on price customer only purchased fronts. Only took 2 weeks for GM Michelin supplier to get tires to me - and they had them in stock.

Choose the option to look up tires by VIN.
1G1YM2D77G5120667: '16 Vette: Looking at my rpo "X" section: XFJ gives sizes to poke into the GM Tire Central, select "continue with all tire sizes" to ensure results and the drop down may ask to verify the size ( in this case RF) and thar she blows, cupcake island! All the sizes appear in one window.

I ran into staggered sizes again today, and finally decided to email about it. Below is the exchange we had.

Me: Recently I needed to look up tires for a 2015 Cadillac ATS Premium Coupe, VIN is 1G6AL1RX6F0XXXXX if it helps/matters. This car has staggered sizes front & rear. I've never been able to figure out a way to search for matching tires front & rear on the Tire Central website. Am I missing something? Can you help me figure it out?

Reply: "There really isn’t a good way to search for matched tires. When I searched by the VIN that you provided it brought up both 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. The best suggestion I have is, after you enter the search, filter to just one brand of tire. At least that narrows the field for you. Now if you don’t find anything or something that the customer is interested in change to search to a different brand."
