Hello, I am a parts and service director out here in the northeast. I am just curious if anyone else is having/seeing Alot of customers coming in complaining about brake squeeks-squeels and what steps you are taking. There are a few bulletins out there they say replace pads. We have customer who we have replaced the pads and they are now coming back again with brakes squeeking. I mean i get it, no one likes to hear their brakes squeeking but how many times can we replace the brake pads?

Had it happen almost a year ago on a Buick Verano... Professionals made noise. Advantage pads made noise.
Put a set of OE GM on.. No noise.
 I forget exactly how we warranteed them.

We only stock and sell the OEM grade. So its all original equipment pads not the cheaper ones we are having trouble with. I really can not believe we are the only ones experiencing
this with the oe pads. I mean i am personally experiencing it in our loaner fleet. Cadillac XT5's with 4k on it. Did it to me last night backing out of my driveway. It wouldnt be enough for me to bring it back to dealership and complain but some people feel they are spending over $50k for a car/suv they dont want to hear the brakes squeeking while backing or stopping..

We use the Durastops on almost every car no problems. Corvettes,SS Camaro and heavy trucks the exceptions.

We use the Professional and Advantage pads. Haven't really had any issues. Is the problem with just one tech or numerous ones. There are techs and then there are mechanics. Hope you all have techs working for you.
