SPAC/BO's Out Of Control!

I am a small Buick GMC dealer and have 14 open SPAC cases and 40+ BO's at the moment.

I can't imagine what the larger dealers are dealing with right now with this mess but it is totally out of control.

I have never had this many BO's in my career; some are even from my admin PDC which is very rare.

Not sure if it has something to do with the trade war, 75 being messed up or a combination of both but this is seriously getting ridiculous.

Checking in here from a small ND dealer here. TOO MANY SPAC and BO's out there here as well!! Waited almost 60 days for a liftgate harness for a 2015 Tahoe!!! This is getting totally out of hand

As of 12:00 today, I have 56 open SPAC cases, and 254 backorders.

I am at a loss for words to describe this s**t show.

Just spent 25 minutes on the phone with SPAC to reopen a case. They neglected to tell me that it was a shipment to Canada.

I refuse to ship to Canada.

I have 7 SPAC cases for 23278449. 2 from 5/23, 3 from 5/30 and 2 from 6/6. Now guess which ones came in first? The ones from 6/6. Do you think GM has any organization, structure or friggin clue how to handle SPAC cases, backorders or anything in general. I bet its like a bunch of bears in a dumpster at these PDC’s and crossdocks. No wonder it takes so long getting these parts in.
GM’s logistics and stocking policies for parts are terrible. I always thought they were using RIM guidelines to stock the warehouses. RIM is shit but it’s not as bad as what GM is using. I wonder if GM is squeezing their suppliers like they do us. On time delivery is great as long as nothing interrupts it because if it does…… oh boy.
By the way…….. those other SPAC cases still haven’t shipped….

41 years with GM parts and I have never seen anything like this. Even bankruptcy was not this bad!
