HVAC Control Modules??

We ordered a 19417495 and the answerback was
"No Inventory available for this Part. SHIP DIRECT PART-WILL B/O UPON ORDER ENTRY."
The engineering notes refer you to a bulletin that states:
"UPDATE: EFFECTIVE 5/1/2019, HVAC CONTROL MODULES (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) ARE NO LONGER INCLUDED IN THE R&R PROGRAM.
ATTEMPTING TO SEND ANY HVAC MODULE IN FOR REPAIR WILL RESULT IN THE UNIT BEING RETURNED TO YOU.
A reman program for many of these units is currently in development and may launch at a later date. Communication will be provided at that time."
And what would they like our customers to do in the meantime? I thought the R&R program was bad. This takes the cake.
