075 not shipping

075 not shipping

Postby gmsubparts » Wed Jun 05, 2019 8:07 pm

Gm is pulling parts from Canada instead of shipping anything out of Michigan. We have had 075 trickling in, Spac advised me 075 is not shipping anything out now.
Ref gcus-9-7847 which I can not find.

Hard to have purchase loyalty when we have to tell the customer sorry GM has the part you need but we have no idea when or if we will ever get it.

Excerpt from May 31st bulletin GCUS-9-7847:
Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac Dealers:
Validation of solutions that will enable us to communicate the actions you can take to check aged order status continues.
Following is the status of the issues affecting orders fulfilled via our Pontiac Redistribution Center (RDC):
• Resolution in process:
o Truckload orders are now moving through Pontiac at pre-system transition pace
 We are working to increase throughput to clear the order backlog
o Identification of orders that have shipped but may not have been invoiced
 We are working to invoice as soon as possible
 Tracking numbers are not visible on FedEx CSO-3 orders until the order is marked complete for invoicing in our system
o Identification of orders that have written but may not have shipped
 We are working to ship as soon as possible
o CSO-3 Fed-Ex orders invoiced beginning 05/21/2019 have the correct freight charges applied
o Correction of incorrect excessive freight charges applied to CSO-3 FedEx orders prior to 05/21/2019
 No need to file a claim, we will process the correction for affected shipments
o Shipping Standard Overnight on Customer Pay CSO-3 FedEx orders versus Priority Overnight
 We are working to correct the shipping priority to expedite delivery time
Please remember that neither SPAC Advisors nor your PDC Liaisons will have any additional information on order status until full visibility is restored.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work to restore full functionality.

Why? You can check Completely DISSATISFIED and nothing will change. About the only thing that will happen is you may get a phone call from the local zone office asking why you feel that way. And even then, NOTHING will change.

Look at the results from last year and all the smoke they are blowing about the changes they have "made".

We have a saying here in the shop. You can't fix stupid but you can make money off it. Doesn't fit this situation at all. STUPID is costing us a lot of money and customers. Seriously how long can this go on? I said it before and I will say it again. Why haven't they stopped referring parts to 075 until they get it corrected?

Because when GM is involved, there is no room for common sense or logic...plain and simple.
