So.... the backorder situation will be all better on the first day of September, which in GM terms is actually the 3rd of September. For them, the end of August is September 2nd.

I found it interesting that he mentioned the health of the outbound process, but says nothing about the hundreds of inbound trailers at 75 waiting to be shelved. I wonder how many backordered parts are in those trailers and boxcars ??
Rumor control says that the union is not willing to work overtime to put the stock on the shelves, so the real problem hasn't been fixed yet and they are "hoping" for an end of September healthy date.
