VIBE RECALL MESSAGE FROM GM

On August 23rd I received an email with ref # GCUS-3-1566. Stop remedy for 05 to 08 Vibes on the Takata Air Bag Recall. It told us not to use part number 19355534 for any repairs. It also said they would have additional information within ONE week. Have I missed something??? Has anyone heard anything and I just missed it?

As per David Orselli, GM Bulletin Coordinator..."As it has been explained to me, part number 84103467 is included in the kit with part number 19355534.



Toyota has advised that dealers should NOT use current inventory of this part number until further notice and that additional information will be provided within one week.



I have no additional information at this time. When new information arrives, we will share it with you.

FYI, That's the longest week ever..... Makes me question how PDC75 will be back to normal but the end of September!!

We had 3 different numbers at Toyota put on stop sale and there hasn't been an update yet on what to do
