I've been using OEC and buying from anyone still selling at a deep discount. I also turned off my discounts for obsolescence, no sense giving away parts that others are now willing to pay $$$$ for.

Glad you mentioned that, it's a good idea. Just went on OEC and did that myself, I agree with your thinking.

I am all about getting RIM orders, but I do not understand why they are shipping RIM orders instead of CSO's. Normally they put RIM orders off and do the CSO's. If their RIM system worked as great as they think and you would have everything you need that would be different. But we all know how well it works. LOL

I GOT THIS LAST NIGHT IN MY EMAIL

Resumption of RIM Order Generation
CCA will be turning RIM order generation back on effective Friday, September 27. This will allow us to have visibility to existing demand and create ship direct orders, which will process as normal from vendors unaffected by the UAW work stoppage. No additional action will be required by the Parts Manager. Parts identified as ship direct will be automatically sent to the appropriate vendor for direct fulfillment. As RIM order generation resumes, orders will account for any on-order quantities reflected in your DMS and any unfilled demand that has accumulated since September 19th.

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we continue to work through this challenge.

Best Regards,
