What are the rest of you doing about customers wanting GM warranty replacement for defective GM parts purchased from Amazon ?

I told a customer recently to bring me a receipt from an authorized GM/ACDelco dealer and I will submit for warranty... otherwise he could contact Amazon and see what they can do for him....

Same as bsnyder723, if he can produce a receipt you might as well submit it and take the 40% providing it is a warrantable condition

Nope. They can deal with Amazon as far as I'm concerned.
They didn't buy it from a GM dealer? Not my problem. Take it back to where you bought it.

I'll work with them if it's a dealer selling on Amazon... But all bets are off if it's someone buying old stock and selling it on Amazon or ebay!

I'll stick with my first response.... PROOF OF PURCHASE from a dealer or AUTHORIZED supplier or go pound sand!

i tell them this as politely as possible "can you produce a receipt,from a GM dealer? "NO" then take it back to where you bought it from....oh, and have a nice day
