Open to input. Seems GM doesn't even know what these engines take for motor oil. Was told 88865926 then partec says use 88865991. Then told by our oil supplier this isn't available yet. Hmmpf Go figure.....

UPON FURTHER REVIEW IT IS A 2.7 GAS ENGINE. MY GUYS ARE ENJOYING THEIR CROW. THANKS FOR THE INPUT.

Parts catalog and SI both call for 88865926.

Correct me if I wrong. I thought the Diesel engine in the Silverado 1500 was a 3.0 and the 2.7 was a 4cyl gas.
