19419326 BLOCK HEATER CORD RECALL

WTF is up with this recall! Every time I try to order they cancel the order after a few days. I stopped trying to order them anymore. I received 8 on 1/30 and 5 on 3/2 and that’s it so far this year. My PDC has 558 of them and Chi has 1505 and Cincy has 1079 and they have been this way for a while now. You can’t call SPAC because they can’t or won’t help. I just can’t figure out the reasoning behind some of the things GM does. I can’t believe I just said that………..

Same here...I have a list of customers that I need to order for. We had one pre-shipped and it is long gone.

WE HAD TO CALL OUR DMA AND EMAIL HIM A LIST OF VIN NUMBERS WE NEEDED THEM FOR. GOT THEM THE NEXT DAY OUT OF OUR OVERNIGHT.

We were told we could only cso with a vin but only for 4500 5500 series trucks.

You would think that GM would have gotten this straightened out by now. We have 2 that recently came in the shop, I ordered the parts and made SPAC cases on both, almost 3 weeks later GM cancels the order and the answerback says "preship only". They ought to have to pay the customer for a new truck.

we still need 26 of these damn things, and I bet we will get them in mid July and then we will sit on them until November when it get cold because no one is going to even think about getting their block heater repaired in the middle of the summer.

I was told by our DMA that the only way we can get one is if it is an emergency worker or essential worker's vehicle. Like anyone needs a block heater now anyway, but wait they will start shipping when it is the least of the customers worries. Then we will sit with them in our inventories who knows how long.

GM reissued the bulletin saying,"This bulletin is being revised to allow all states to perform the repair and to add the customer letter. Please discard all previous copies of bulletin N182206311". Answerbacks today on 3 I have SPAC cases on says under status message," per recall 192264210". They still show back ordered even though my local PDC has 5373 in stock. WTF!!!

My APM sent an email saying that GM was allowing orders to be filled. I just put in my order and if things go as usual ......... they will cancel in a couple days. BUT If my APM is correct I should see them tomorrow. Then we will wait until the weather gets cold before they come back to install.

I just reordered 42 on a CSO order with the VIN for each one, so hopefully they will process them all.
