Does anyone use Scanit Parts barcode system? We are on Autosoft and I am told this is the only system that will integrate with them. However it won't perform all the functions that scanit parts offers. If you do you use a scanner, What company and DMS? Would you recommend it?

We've been using ScanIt parts for over 15 years now, initially with Reynolds, and now with CDK.
Aside from some connectivity issues from time to time, it is a pretty good system.
We just changed to CDK in August, and their system is horrible. 5 min of setup just to start scanning.....
With ScanIt, you just grab the gun and go. It is handy for bin changes too.

On R&R and have been using their scan gun for years. Cannot imagine going back to not using one for order receipt daily among many other functions.

I'm on CDK and have been using their scan gun for about 5 months now. It does take a few mins in the morning to get it set up to scan, but boy does it save time

bsnyder723 I have a couple questions on the CDK usage. We just signed up for this but I am not sure how useful it will be.

One of my main concerns is when you are checking in freight how can you tell what you were shorted by GM?
