THE NEXT STUMBLING BLOCK.....

THE NEXT STUMBLING BLOCK.....

Postby Denise Trimble » Fri Feb 07, 2020 5:53 pm

A few days ago I read an article in Detroit Free Press regarding the 2019 Novel Coronavirus and it's possible impact on automakers' part supply chains. There is a slight chance some production plants could be slowed or halted making part acquisition difficult. I suppose it would not hurt to disinfect each "Made in China" item, OEM or otherwise, for the foreseeable future.

I've heard that this virus is going to be affecting the export of methanol quite a bit. One of our suppliers told us costs will be going up pretty sharply. Keep an eye on your washer solvent.

I think we're going to be screwed VERY soon with imports from China.
