PIPP Going Away

At the Parts Manager's Conference in Orlando, I heard rumors from Ford Parts Managers that Ford is talking about taking away PIPP! I also heard two of the speakers hint at this also.

Has anyone heard of this at all? If so, what alternatives are they offering in place of PIPP allowance? I can't believe that they would just "do away" with the plan without some sort of replacement program! Any conversation here would be appreciated.

Yes I'm afraid all this talk of PIPP going away might be true. It seems to be popping up all over the place . Our Field reps and District Managers are all kind of hinting at this saying we will be offered a one time parts return if we sign up for the Parts Upgrade Program and the new 30 Day Parts Return Program will be extended to 45 days with a lower dollar value being allowed to be returned. I think they are crazy if they think this is going to work.
