Has anyone replaced tires for the BULLETIN 19-NA-078? Are these tires to be returned back to GM or Michelin? Or scrap locally?

Yes I have done many.

Just finished getting another set ready for pickup as a matter of fact.

Process is brutal:
I have our advisor call 800-847-3435 to create a case #.

You have to have a login to bibnet which is Michelin's warranty portal and input all of the information for the claim.

Call that same phone # with your case # and AA # you create in bibnet...They will provide you with an Authorization Code and tell you the % the consumer is responsible to pay.

You input all of the information claim type 7, print all of the labels, tape the labels on the tires.

Create a UPS Freight BOL and call them to be picked up.

Wait for your credit to arrive; if it is less than 2 months they are slow.

that bulletin is a JOKE.. we all laughed at it.

"Normal tire performance attributes" aka these tires are designed to be junk from the start. The only Michelin tires available on that bulletin are junk and overly priced. They start out at 8.5 tread depth.

Blaming it on the alignment? Yeah sure 10000 cars with those tires are all out of alignment.

It is cheaper and better for the customer to just sell them a set of Pirelli's and be done with it.

They can be replaced with Michelin, Uniroyal or BF Goodrich.
