Tired of the GMBS

I read the latest update on the GM operations. I am trying to be understanding, I really am. I understand Michigan was one of the hardest hit states.
Yet, the statement, "For example, select OVN orders may be downgraded to 2 Day service" just makes me mad. There is no context, and I know this is an example. Yet, I have had this happen.
Why do they get to decide if the part I ovn is a two day service? Has this happened to any of you?

Not yet, but what are the actually doing?

Do they just print the label as 2nd day instead of next day. If so what difference does that make to them?

Or are the giving themselves an extra day to pull the order and then print a next day label?

Tell me about it. Downed new 3.0L Duramax, part on restriction and of course, only shipping facility is Michigan. Finally get it through PQC and customer is informed of the known 21+ day wait. Customer gets pissed about two weeks in and starts calling CAC. CAC keeps calling me wanting to know when the part will ship, I tell them they should have that answer not me. They finally confirm it is still stuck in pre-shipment 38 days after order being placed. By mere coincidence a single dealer in Ohio shows to have it, I buy it, send them a shipping label and guess what shows up the next morning after being told it still hadn't shipped from GM that day before?

No one at GM cares about the dealer or their customer. We ordered a door trim panel (for a Buick) on a body shop order CSO-3. It took 2 weeks to show up. Charged 48 dollars in overnight charges and what was shipped was a corvette quarter panel instead of the trim panel. Completely different part number.

You can file a reimbursement request on anything ordered CSO-3 that arrives late. Just an FYI
