DAY & ROSS DELIVERY

Does anyone else have Day & Ross for their parts delivery from GM, instead of DLI? We were lucky enough to keep our driver, when they changed over in May, but apparently he doesn't work every Saturday now. We're open until noon every Saturday, but have not been getting our deliveries before we close for the last 4 weeks. Each Monday we're given a different reason by their team as to the delay. Many of our independent customers/repair shops need their parts, naturally, so do our own technicians who are in on Saturday. The delivery does show up sometime before Monday, usually with no manifest or not all of it's pages. So far, we have had no other real issues, but this one stings a little when your customer has driven across two counties to wait for a rear wiper arm to be installed on their vehicle.

We got switched from DLI to D&R too. Service seems better than DLI so far. Driver is earlier and more consistent. As far as Saturdays, we've been getting all our Saturday deliveries here and at a consistent time. I would definitely put a call in to your rep and see what's going on.

Each Monday they have a different reason for the delay. They made us aware there is no staff, in their office on Saturdays, to send notifications of delay.
