CDK QUESTION

CDK QUESTION

Postby CADLOU » Thu Dec 10, 2020 2:03 pm

I have lost my mind. I know I have done it a few times! We use CDK and I have always changed the message on the bottom of our parts invoices before. For what ever reason, I can not get it done now. I have tried what I thought was the process I used only to be rejected. I tried looking it up in help with no luck. I asked our Fixed Op because he was the PM before me, and he too can't either remember or is rejected. Can anyone help me?

In the launch tab type in OSOP... Then move the mouse all the way to the left of the screen and click where it says parts options. Select Modify Invoicing (I) Setups.
Middle of screen... Messages to print on invoices
Click save... I haven't had any issues doing it this way.
Hope it helps!!

Thanks, It keeps telling me there is no function. I am so confused as why I could change it and now nothing.

Are you using the old version of CDK?

It tells me that it isn't an available function. That is in the launch for the web version. As for version of what we are using, I am not sure. It just says CDK drive.

Click on launch and put OSOP in function. Worked for me.

If you receive that error message when using launch (not DMS connection) then you do not have access to the function. Discuss it with your system administrator to have them grant you the access.
