What is the deal with the part # changes on wipers. Gm seems to be phasing out the Advantage line of wipers. But the catalog and Autosoft are not working together. Makes finding blades for my guys a huge pain in the rear. Anyone have a simple cross reference that would help out.

when we can save notes to the GM EPC .not the internet version. I usually put a note next to the wiper blades that i want everyone to sell for example.

19252698 -user note: hey you pick this one.
19252696 user note: pick this one

Sometimes it works . I do have someone here that's new so he does not always go to the group correctly so that is a struggle for me. When you look at a illustration or just search for blade sometimes it only shows the OE. He is getting it really slow . but he is getting it

There was a time not too long ago that wipers were pretty straight forward. Silverado lades 89001016. Boy did they screw that up. Lets make a few more styles to confuse everyone.

I do loathe the number soup and the good, better, best quagmire. We do really well with wiper sales by just stocking the OES numbers. 23417074s fly out the door at 31.99 each.

Only GM could eff up a simple supplier change and changing of the part number. I never know if I’m getting the old or new number. All the advantage blades were depot stocked……….oh no not now. Lets not fill our PDC with the new number before changing numbers. No lets create chaos by making them vendor direct and hold orders when they have THOUSANDS of them at the source……….. My CDK did not recognize the MSQ of 5 pieces so it kept ordering 1,3,4,2,5 pieces. Simple example of 19252698 is replaced by 19426430 of which there are 63,000 at the vendor and yet I have multiple orders for a couple here and a couple there. Have no idea why my orders are being held at the vendor. Now we are scrambling to find blades when it was never an issue before. What a f@#%ed up mess !!!

Same here, I cant use any of my advantage blades if one of them is the 19426430 because its center mount... all my other advantages (192526xx) are offset mount... So i just have to end up selling OE or Hybrid so they match, at a much less markup

UPDATE...……

I have orders dating back to Jan 29th and early Feb for blade 19426429. According to EPIC the supplier has 92,565 in stock. So WTF is the hold up on shipping them out? You can't call anyone because SPAC in Pakistan will only put you on hold for 3 to 5 minutes please and thank you for your patience...……… Those ANCO blades down the street are looking a lot better and I can get as many as I want

1ST VEHICLE I COULD NOT GET THE NEW ADVANTAGE NUMBERS TO FIT THE WIPER ARM.
19426430 AND 19426428 . I COULD NOT USE THEM ON A 2015 GMC ACADIA

2ND VEHICLE IS A 2008 GMC YUKON 19426429

ON THE FIRST VEHICLE HAD TO PUT THE OE ON.
ON THE SECOND VEHICLE WE WERE ABLE TO REUSE THE ADAPTER FROM THE 19252697 OLD BLADE THAT CUSTOMER HAD.

LOOKS LIKE IT IS NOT WORKING ON THE SAME TYPE OF ARM.

WE FOUND THE ADAPTER IS SHORTER THAN THE OLD 19252697 BLADE SO IT WONT RETAIN AT THE END.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SIMILAR ISSUES ?????
