Batteries are UN2794. The box has an area marked where the UN label and the corrosive label are supposed to be placed.

I have done a few of these in the last couple of months and this is the box that we always receive to ship them back:

Ok, THANKS for the pic. That was helpful. If you go on the gm dangerous goods webpage it has it shown a little different as to where to put the stickers.

Is dealer name address supposed to be anywhere on outside of box. Like we do with other returns where you cut off the bottom and attach to outside of package?

If I remember right, I put the tag on there. Figured as much documentation as possible was good.

WPC Should be able to say for sure.

No. Just put the labels on the outside of the box and make sure you have the WPC Paperwork, copy of the repair order, and the WPC Battery Request paper directly inside the box before you close it and tape it up. They want to see that paper first when they open the box.

Fill out the Central Transport BOL and call them to schedule the pickup; after they pick it up and you have the PRO # Call the WPC with the PRO and Transaction ID and they will remove it from the red in your GWM.

They sent one last time I had to send one back. But, jeez...that was pre Covid.
