I have been told that with the new core return center that "cut offs" will no longer be acceptable, it has to be a complete fascia core or what is left of the fascia after collision. been returning "cut offs" for the last 2 years because it was easier to process and pack them in a cage to return, which was nicer for my DLI driver not having to screw around with a stack of complete fascia cores.

I haven't returned any cores yet on the new system.

I sent cut-offs in all the time at my last store with zero issue.

I'd like to know as well.

I don't cut any of the fascias off...if GM wants me to play the game then everyone involved in handling it can play as well.

I WENT TO A MEETING AT GMSPO A FEW YEARS BACK. THEY SAID THEN THAT THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT BUMPERS UNLESS THEY WERE AT LEAST 2/3 OF THE BUMPER. THAT MUST HAVE BEEN AROUND 3-4 YEARS BACK.
SO MUCH FOR POLICY.

Is everyone sending the bumper cores back without the box and just putting the core stickers on the core? That is what I have been doing, and my driver has gotten some from
another GM store that was sending back cores in the original box!!

With box, just like I receive it from GM.

Question for you: I just received a core back from an outside body shop. No box, no sticker, no GM sticker on part, just the molded in number. From my memory, and P&P reading, GM won't credit it, correct?

We sent a fascia back without box or tag. We attached a copy of the GM invoice. We got paid.
