Missing Core Package & Label

Through a series of unfortunate events we mistakenly recycled a core box (and label) for a GM core that is worth $800. We have NEVER lost a core package!

Is there a way to recover this $800 core charge without the original package?

Warehouse says no. Waiting for a couple days now for an answer from our DMA.

I don't have the part number in front of me but it is for a diesel injector & pump kit.

Pretty sure this will be a hard lesson learned, if it was service that pitched the box i would charge them for the core

I wasn't aware there were cores on the pump/injector kits. 12672027 (LGH) and 12672028-->12702459 (LML) are the only two kits that I am aware of, and we have never been charged cores on them.

Part number in question 19420326, core charge $800.00

This is the newest number in the 12672028 - 1270249 - 19420236 chain of substitutions.

Wow...they don't even have that linked in Global yet. Crazy because we just did one last week (12702459), but not surprising. I often wondered why there was no core on these, but there is on an individual injector or pump.

Unfortunately I think smoyer is right....

It is worth putting it in a nice box and trying to return it. Hell if you can make a copy of the label and stick it on the box that might even work.
