SERVICE LANE PARTS

Postby JGROSS1978 » Thu May 20, 2021 3:03 pm

Until further notice, CSO orders for Service Lane Parts (SLP) not available at the administrative PDC will no longer be automatically upgraded to a CSO-3 order and shipped overnight. The order will continue to process as a regular CSO. CSO referrals will continue to process in the normal manner

IN OTHER WORDS...…… WE ARE GOING TO FAST AND COULD YOU PLEASE SLOW DOWN A LITTLE SO WE CAN CATCH UP. NEWS FLASH...…… YOU NEVER WILL CATCH UP BECAUSE YOUR LOGISTICS IS PATHETIC. THE MI CROSSDOCK ON ITS BEST DAY COULDN'T FIND THEIR ASS WITH BOTH HANDS IF THEY HAD TO. I HAVE SHIT SCATTERED ALL OVER THE PLACE AND TAKES ON AVERAGE 10 TO 14 DAYS TO GET, IF AT ALL. FEDX OVN NOW MEANS 3,4,5 DAYS AND THEY HAVE BEEN TRAINED WELL BY GM...…….

Thank you for your understanding, support, and patience as we continue to work to recover the health of our distribution network. We still have work to do to reduce backorders and SPAC case volume, but we are focused on resolving backorders as quickly as possible, specifically on the most critical orders. We will continue to provide regular updates regarding our recovery progress.

Now they thank us for not only our patience, but also for our understanding and support!

Also, I can't help but think this would be resolved much quicker if they were LASER focused, instead of just plain focused.

When I started doing GM parts 1n 1976, I used to mail an order in to GM and I did not know what was coming until the truck delivered the order 10 to 14 days later. Not much has changed in this regard has it :D

I remember those good old days! Back then you got a stock order once a week...if you were lucky. That was before GM became so laser focused on pissing off as many customers as possible.

All from a lack of manpower I'm told. Yet I ordered 3 lines of 20 tailgate rods and got this in today, all individually packaged.

I can't imagine what extra it cost in shipping, let alone manpower to be that stupid.

I had that same situation with dipsticks too. I placed 2 orders for 20 each. Local PDC had 8. The rest came from another PDC, 26 in one box and 6 boxed individually. Amazing how the system works or should I say people.
