SPRINT Indicator

SPRINT Indicator

Postby ScottParts » Thu Jul 15, 2021 4:23 pm

I have, possibly, a very basic question, but for the life of me can't find the answer.

I may soon have to do my first D2D Express Direct. One of the lines in the guide says "The following parts/orders do not shop D2D Express or Express Direct:
– Parts with a SPRINT indicator “N” (No)".

Where do I find this indicator? Looked all over, and can't uncover it.

GM is notoriously evasive, but you raise a valid question. I do not see it in the booklet either. Unfortunately, most times, we only find out a part cannot be SPRINTED after all the leg work is done on our part.

Looking at all our SPAC cases:
Parts Workbench>View SPAC Cases>Search>click on each case number
In the upper right corner of the page it has a blue "Shop Express Direct" tab. We have not had to select the tab yet, but maybe it appears once you do.

I never could find it either, when I asked SPAC about it, they said call them they could tell you if it was able to be SPRINTED. it just keeps getting harder

Thanks Denise. I haven't done one yet, either. I'll let you all know if this is the answer.

This will probably be what I have to do. And knowing the answer will be "I dunno", I'll ask anyway where to find it.

I appreciate the help!

To check for that indicator, you may contact us. For now , it is not available in Parts workbench.

And from OE Connection:

Hello,

I believe this would be indicated in whichever GM system you are generating the request from our system is for fullfilling requests not submitting them.

Thank you

It doesn't exist for us. Only way to find out if it will Sprint is call/chat with SPAC.
