UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOT OF CUSTOMERS USING COLLISION LINK IT IS NOT WORTH SPENDING THE EXTRA FOR IT.

I HAVE A bump shop and I do a little collision wholesale here. I use the BTC calculator and manually get my claims from GMLAM.

So in short I take the calculator and use it as a tool to see if I can Bump or not. if the part is on the Calculator I bump it.

Lets say the dealer cost of the part is $100 dollars and gm will give you $13.00 according to the calculator . I treat the cost as $87.

The one thing for retail/wholesale customers I use this tool to sell them parts they would normally pay cost + 15 or cost +20 to sell them a few dollars over cost. so if cost is $100. I will sell that at $105. and then make an extra $13. by submitting to GMLAM.

Why don't I sell it below cost? I want to make money. If you listen to GM they will tell you if you sell volume you will make more money.
Ba humbug. GM is not looking out for you. The only way to make more money then the $13. on the back end is buying a lot more from GM and getting into a different tier or buying a truckload.

I had a growing wholesale business but I never got to a different tier. every year I was a $100000 to $200000 away and then they would raise it and then I would be further away, get that close again the next year and then they would raise it again.

for some of the dealers that HAVE a good game plan and unlimited aMOUNT OF MONEY they can charge less because they are getting more backend money
