gm gen3 oil

Am I the only one with oil tanks filled with gen3 oil and got billed for gen2? We use LUBE-TECH out of Wisconsin they told me they switched back in September from gen 2 to gen3 and I was billed for gen2 not gen3.. Just wondering if I was the only one.
