Anyone planning on increasing a few of the faster movindg SPQ's ahead of the June Price Increase? Just wondering. Appreciation?

Yep, we did a big ol' supplemental order.
I don't remember ever having an increase % this large, and I've been in this circus a long time.
Anyone else?

Can anyone verify if we are charged order date pricing or ship date pricing?

Increase qtys. in RIM to order more for inventory before the price increase, and then go back into RIM and change those qtys. back to what they initially were, Is that correct?

If I'm thinking correctly, if we place a DRO order outside of RIM, those parts will count against the RIM purchase loyalty.

Usually ship date pricing, but generally at GM's whim/discretion.

Yes. Exclude a specific number, then remove the exclusion the same day. RIM will actually recalculate those numbers overnight; some may even increase at RIM's discretion. Adjust the following day.

Increase SPQ's long enough to create a sizeable order, then after the order is complete, I would suggest going back in shortly thereafter and returning levels to acceptable/desired levels.

Our RIM order was put on hold today due to the higher-than-normal value.

Hope the extra effort pays off.

I don't believe a DRO, which is no longer relevant, would affect your Purchase Loyalty, just RIM Protection.

Effective June 1, due to rapidly advancing inflationary and economic pressures experienced across industries worldwide, we will implement a mid-year price increase on a majority of our parts. The preliminary sales weighted impact of the price change is 3.4%. Price changes are reflected on the June 1st Pricing Media provided to your Data Service Provider.

HUH! My update ran last nite. Whats with the huge increase on 6/1. My appreciation report only affected 105 lines with a net app of $732. Is this what everyone else is seeing.

I have about the same size inventory as PartsPlant81. About $6200 in increased value. With the price of tires and oil rising, who could be surprised?
