I'm amazed GM don't have AC parts. Year after year, they don't even have 30lb r134a. It seems summer sneaks' up on them every year.. it's the 12356150 that set me off.. GM cost $225.00 NAPA $369.99 MY WD dont have the GM Freon... I don't know guys, but I'm soooooo sick of this shit!!
Thank you once again for allowing me to vent..

GM must use RIM to stock their warehouses.

I noticed a new "red lettered" message when checking availability on a condenser 19383805:
"Part Advise NATL 200 EXPEDITE - MAY B/O AT 1ST STKNG FACY"
'Tis the season, friends!

I imagine GM's response:

Let this be a lesson to you. You have to start thinking like a department store - order for two seasons from now. Do you have your heater parts stocked for this winter? :D :D :D

Seriously, we looked at the C/K truck condenser list a couple months ago. We stocked up (for us) and sold them to other dealers in the area while GM still showed stock. Ordered more with GM stock showing and all backordered - still waiting. Should have never sold them all... But we try to help others hoping someday it will be returned to us.

Give them time, they've only had 4-5 years to correct this condenser issue

So do people in states that have warm weather all year round not use their AC? We're in MN., and when the weather hits 70 here, people are using their ac and that seems to be when GM backorders their ac condensers. Maybe it's that they are stocked for only the warmer states, and think that rest of us live in states that are too cold to need AC.

Freon shortage is supposedly due to lack of steel to make tanks.
Condensers have been the same for 10 years, PDC's refuse to stock enough for the season so we are forced to order 20 to 30 of them in November and have them sit in inventory until May and June.
