GM powertrain B/O's & PASE

with so much of GM's powertrain on backorder they should suspend those parts from PASE until the supply chain is fixed. We can not have customers waiting months for engines, transmissions, transfer case. So we have to be able to use whatever means it takes to procure these items to get our customers back on the road. If we tell our customers that we can't used aftermarket components, or used components, to get them back on the road, they will defect to a IRF that will, and we lose a customer.

I know that GM has been allowing some exceptions with these types of items that are on backorder, but why should we have to take the time to process these transactions for exceptions? Do you have time everyday to do this? :x :x

Should they remove them from PASE or should they allocate? one dealer having 134 transmissions and nobody else not having one because the other dealer ordered first is the problem. One of many problems.
