I have been thinking about discontinuing the gm Employee discount. It seems that gm doesnt want to help us out so Why should we help them out?

Or all retired GM employees get the discount since they are the ones that built this and current gm Employees would not since they are the ones ruining everything.

What do you all think?

We have an former GM assembly plant in my town, there are lots of former employees floating around. GM Employees have the means to order parts and their price directly thru GM. Listen to the full message when you call SPAC, DPAC or CRAC, you will hear an option for GM Employees.

I will give a courtesy discount to them 10-15% but if they get stupid and ask for more I will refer them to GM.

I don't mind giving them a little discount. I do mind spending time looking for part numbers for those who nearly never buy here, though. Most of our area are GM retirees, so the requests have slowed way down. There is that GCUS-9-10591 memo as well.

If I recall there is a number they can call directly to order parts. I don't think you have to absorb the discount

I USED TO THINK IF I SOLD A TON OF PARTS AT A DISCOUNT AND HELPED EVERYONE OUT THAT THEY WOULD ALL MIGRATE MY WAY. THIS IS NOT TRUE IN THE 21ST CENTURY . NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU DID FOR THEM YESTERDAY. THEY WANT IT NOW AND AS SOON AS THEY LEAVE THEY FORGET.
