We have almost no interaction with our GM Rep. and have not received notification of cancelled cases, however we're checking daily (sometimes morning and afternoon) to try to catch those which may fall through the cracks. Are they using OnStar to verify vehicle locations per SPAC case? If so, I'm positive there are better ways to spend time. Everyone at the dealer level has given up on the regular backorder process and escalates EVERY single one to a SPAC case. GM has created their own monster, in my opinion, with their logistic ineptitude and sketchy supplier retention history. Dealers have a chain around their waists and will be forced to wait as we get dragged along the gravel road. If you buy aftermarket to satisfy a customer or get a out of towner, who is broken down, back on the road you are congratulated for it by hefty paperwork and possibly surcharges for missed percentage markers. Not every issue is COVID or "chip-shortage" related, but it makes a good excuse for the foreseeable future.
