Back on Sept 6 we received an e-mail from Sandra Martin at Kemkrest saying

"134A 12356150 Refrigerant – We are currently out of stock on this item and we are not getting any more under the part 12356150. If you order 12356150 it will be cancelled. We do not have an eta on when we are getting more. We do have stock on the smaller canister of this product under part 19355335, it is a 12 oz canister and it is sold in a 12 pack. There are no limits that have been placed on this at this time.

We have also been informed by GM that they have secured stock from another supplier on the 134a. Your part number is 19433843 for $349.00. They received 7000 canisters of the 134a. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT BEING SOURCED BY KEMKREST. You will order it from GM but it will be sent to another supplier to ship. We received a communication from GM that this part is now active in the GM system so you can order it.

Please also note the following for 134a:
Once the 7000 units are gone we don’t know if anymore will be obtained by GM.
There are no order limits on the new part number 19433843 so it will go fast.
No more is being produced by the suppliers for this product.
We don’t’ know when a new product will come out or how much it will cost. We do know one will have to be issued as there are too many cars on the road that need it.
The 1234YF and the 134a are not compatible so you will need to wait for the new product to be issued."
