We've had 3 or 4 of these 23 diesels come in and take PF63 filters. Is there any way to tell other than taking the old filters off?

The catalog calls for PF63 or PF26. (See VIN: P1711486) I believe they're interchangeable. I have the flyer GM sent out, but can't upload it here.

Do a search in Global Connect for PF63 and it will bring up the bulletin. Tired to post it here, was stopped by the balloon, I meant bulletin police.

The new PF63 engine oil filter is the new factoryinstalled filter beginning with 2023 models equipped
with the 6.6L (RPO L5P) Duramax Diesel engines.
GM has also recently approved the PF63 filter for
use in select 2019 and newer model year Chevrolet
and GMC vehicles.
