SEE 19-NA-214 & 19-NA-242"

In 19-NA-214, it states the GM Battery Service Center quotes the price of the battery. " GM Battery Service Center by calling 1-833-33 GM BSC (1-833-334-6272)"

We have a law here in Montana similar to the one in Massachusetts that requires manufacturers to pay warranty markup even on parts supplied by the manufacturer at no cost. I did speak with my rep about it and he just kind of shook his head. After that I did speak with another parts manager from a nearby state that has the same provisions in their law regarding warranty parts mark up, and he said that unless the manufacturer has gone through the legal issues with a dealer in your home state to force them to comply you'd pretty much have to sue the manufacturer to get them to play ball. I haven taken it further, but given the amount of money on the table it very well could be worth it.
