Someone please tell me what the hell this is?

From my understanding if you order a part and your facing PDC doesn't have it the part will not refer and the order will release as soon as the PDC receives enough stock. No referrals are allowed aslo many parts have ben moved to DRO only and are no longer eligible for SPAC cases from what myself and another parts manager have found recently

those parts are under review code 2 "ALL CSO3 ORDERS WILL PROCESS NORMALLY; ALL OTHER ORDERS TYPES WILL WRITE OR BACKORDER AT FIRST STOCKING FACILITY. DOES NOT ALLOW REFERRALS'

As i found out today these parts are not allowed to have SPAC cases either. I have a few parts on the program my facing pdc is the only one that doesn't have the part there though part is in transit

It is all about satisfying the customer isn't it? Oh wait the part is coming in shortly they can wait. For the life of me I can not understand their thinking. LOL Gotta love that great GM feeling!!!!!

Yep, when I called in to put a SPAC Case on one, I was told your facing PDC is expecting the part in within a week! When I said 51 (which is 2 days away for me) has them, why can't it be referred? I was told that is the way it is. So, I told the overseas operator that my customer will call the complaint line since their car will be down for close to another week that GM has plenty of stock of the part but won't ship it to me. She responded that there was nothing she could do!

RIM, Service Lane, all to help us satisfy the customer... Instead, we have 1 plus weeks for delivery from 087, backorders that will NEVER be filled, and if they are filled it will be several months.

Keep that great GM feeling, with Genuine GM Parts! Or order it from Amazon, cause they have stock...

I have an air filter that RIM ordered the 25th, which B/O (big surprise). No stock in my facing PDC, but every other warehouse had stock. For a solid week I couldn't upgrade it to CSO. After that week, I suddenly magically could. Still sitting on B/O. And now my facing has 180! Estimated ship date? 7/21-7/28. For an air filter? Come on GM, surely you can do better!

ummm, no they can't

If they did better, we would begin to expect better................ TOO MUCH WORK
