D2D link during the strike.

Who is going to continue to sell on D2D link during the strike? I have instructed my staff only to sell if the parts are aging inventory, or a very slow mover.

Old inventory yes, it's up for grabs

Newer inventory use your best judgement do not let parts go that are in high demand

Know of one dealer that did not prepare, sat back on their keisters, now they have already called here three times this morning.

D2D is running slow as hell.

Coming next OE Connection Premium! Pay $499 a month for premier access. No more waiting for the gears to spin!

WE ARE PARTS WHORES HERE. The only thing I am saving is the parts I had to Sprint in. Everything else must go.

Ugh...we have a "left hand doesn't talk to the right hand" scenario going on here.

We have a parts employee whos job is to do all the backend paperwork / receiving / match up invoices etc..seems to be the go-between between Parts and Accounting (don't ask)...but they have been trained to accept/ship out the Sprint orders. But they have zero parts knowledge and zero thought process to look at the parts and see the history. To give you an idea they have no access to catalogue, will not serve customers, answer phone etc. Sits in an office all day with door closed. I don't get it...but I am not the Manager.

Backordered parts we finally got in for stock after waiting months...sells the very same day on D2D. Direct ship accessories we can't keep on the shelf and take a while to come in...sells directly to other dealers for 10% over cost vs full list to actual retail customers.

I'm all for helping other dealers but if I waited months for something...I want to hold onto it for a bit.

no one from Snap on has reached out to us. It would be great if we Got together and forced OEC to be more competitive by purchasing other locator and discontinuing theres
