How many of you are still waiting for Lansing parts? I have several that show shipment numbers, but apparently aren't shipped (i.e. sitting in a trailer somewhere)...just wondering if I'm alone.

You are not alone. Parts sitting on the dock, employees on coffee break. Got this in my e-mail today regarding deliveries from 051
Good morning, all,

Update for November 10, 2023.

Wednesday the PDC processed 36,190 lines. Hazardous parts ordered After 2PM will be on next days route due to additional processing requirements.

Just to give you an idea of how much we have done since the strike ended, we had 170,000 lines in the queue on 11/1

Remaining Lines Held in Queue

I don't give a damm how many lines you had in the queue, just do your job, maybe if the warehouse had stayed on and DID their job rather than follow the sheep...................

Our local PDC 039 has started delivering RIM orders ... a few at the time. The problem is we get 5 totes with maybe 10 different RIM orders, all mixed together. We have to search through 11 pages to find one part on RIM order R293 and the next part is 7 pages down on R313. Takes forever to check the order in. Then when I go through the invoices the parts are again all mixed up so again it takes forever to reconcile the order. Very frustrating.

It is irritating, one would think that whoever sets the order up at the warehouse would think outside the box and keep them separated. But I am old school and use my brain.

How many lines do you normally receive each working day? Might be time to look into a scanner, we use one here, it cuts down on check in time considerably. My quam with it is this. If we order two of a part and they only come in a pack of ten, it will not accept the pack of ten. Have to set that part aside and deal with it manually.

We are a small dealer and normally don't have enough lines to justify a scanner. Would be nice though.... maybe Santa will get us one. :D
