Would a turbocharger be considered Hazmat to send back to the WPC?

Good question, turbo runs off exhaust but any residual fuel, I assume diesel might throw it into the Hazmat column. Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't. Had a DEF sensor called back, since the bottles of DEF were marked combustible, I returned it as such . Warranty return center got very bent out of shape. Threw it back in their face about their bottles marked combustible. Never heard another word and since then I have yet to see an AC Delco DEF bottle marked combustible.

I would contact the warranty desk, think it was Jackie, she was always helpful. Will look for her e-mail, telephone.

on global... there is a chart that deems if the wpc sees the part as haz mat by the labor code..

type haz mat in the search box... they tell me it is a living document that changes...

dont ask me how i know...

it is under fuel hazmat labor ops

Email Jackie at the warranty parts center to be sure. I am pretty sure turbos are not HazMat. warrantypartscenterusaATgmdotcom
