a few days ago i ordered 12690558 engine... today i get a cancel notice.. to call par tech to comfirm part number.. part tec tells me that number is changing to a 19420611 gives me a case number.. tells me to contact dpac to make sure.. so i get transfered to dpac.. a lady who i can hardly understand confirms the info.. she will re order.. then she re orders the first number, not the new number.. and they wonder why all us old guys are looking for retirement...

So this is a consignment part (I know this is old but figured someone might want to know for future reference) so they are a bit extra from what I have been told. If you remember the name of the agent who did all that, I would recommend calling in again and asking for a supervisor and giving them their name and asking them to reach out to their supervisor. Sounds like you got one of the foreign ones and from what I can tell, they aren't actual GM employees. They just partner with GM and are way elsewhere and I get misinformed by them all the time. I have a select few phone and chat agents that I actually will work with because I trust them.
