Why are these so hard to get? We need one for fuel contamination, surely there aren't that many people putting DEF in their gas vehicles...

Here is what I would try. First off is the customer a Dr, Nurse, Policeman, Firefighter? Is the vehicle used for a business? If so GM will push and find one. If not, tough shit, use your thumb.

Select every dealer on the D-D Link that shows this part and do a mass order, some dealers will respond with "Cannot sell", some will simply hit "Cancel", some will call with a yes or no. It's worth a try.

Oldie but figured I would chime in. That part isn't even being made by the source anymore. Like at all. DPAC is currently trying to push through a new part number which is 25207068 which has some in transit from the source. No where near enough to cover every back order GM has, but it is a start. There is a bunch that they have scheduled to ship from the source though soon so fingers crossed on that. Like, a lot.
