warranty scrap

what is everyone's thought process on warranty scrap... i understand the 3 days if it has a core , and 7 days without a core process... but we never end up with any jobs with parts that have a core that does not have something else that does not have a core... i have emailed the wpc and gm rep and still waiting on an answer.. we have 6.2 motors stacking up like firewood..

Any transaction(claim) with a core part has a retention of 3 days and then core can be returned and the other parts can be scrapped.
