PDC 33 = AMAZON FACILITY

Hey folks; I've been wondering: If GM made or acquired this facility 33/Project October, in order to help parts flow during the strike; how is it the UAW is letting this go without grievances filed? Why are the unionized warehouse employees allowing this to happen?

I was also told that the reason it is called facility 33 is because there are 33 of them. Hence the inconsistent delivery times.

What I hate about it is the slow delivery time, we ordered a part CSO that showed to have availability at my local PDC by the cutoff time where it normally would have came from the PDC the next morning, due to this stupid 033 bs it still has not shown up as of 3 days later so I had to pick one up from another dealer to get it faster.

So here is what I have gathered. 033 is being forced to the front of our chains, which means even if our local has stock, it will go to 033 first. They do not do overnight and their standard shipping is longer than what it would be from our local. I can't wait for this temporary facility to just be gone at this point. Having to pay freight on parts because I have to place them CSO3 and then they end up coming from my local is well, annoying.
