Anyone get their steering wheel airbags in today from 616? There is a new FEDEX PRP label with incomplete instructions on how to return. Just wondering if anyone has inquired into this before I do.

I've got one 85036129 airbag I sent back to TG Missouri with all their labels and stickers, FED EX sent it back to me a few days later with a sticker saying "improper hazmat". After a 45 min phone call with FED EX they told me that the PRP label was not set up as a hazmat shipment. Followed all their directions to a T on the bulletin and the paperwork provided with the airbag. I sent an e-mail to the TG replacement box email on the bulletin but haven't heard back yet. Will post if I get any answers, sounds like this is going to be a process just to return an airbag.

Yes. The initial orders for the airbags for this recall were sent out with the wrong FedEx labels. GM sent out a message on April 3rd. Error in FedEx Return Label. Now we are receiving airbags with a pouch on top with the correct label. We have our DMA working on getting us 12 more labels for the ones that were shipped wrong. Ooop!!

Stuff them into groundhog holes and set 'em off.

Have fence posts to set? Start your hole, set the airbag in the hole, set em' off. Loosens up the dirt, makes for easy digging.

Throw them into the river, set em' off. Easy fishing, beats a crank phone any day.

Knew an old counterman from an independent jobber store. His father worked for the highway department, brought home some dynamite, had some rocks he was trying to loosen up from the pasture. Well several sticks got stuffed under the rock, fuse lit and hauled ass. It blew alright, the rock went flying in the air, landed in the river by a bridge just as the highway department supervisor was driving across.

GCUS-3-3203

This came out after we tried to send a couple back. The nice lady at FED-Ex sent us labels to return them with , then we got a driver who decided to remove the label, thinking it was incorrect, and that caused a whole different delay. The new labels are supposed to be correct, but I haven't had the opportunity to get another airbag to check if it matches the one from the Fed-Ex lady.

I did see that bulletin GCUS-3-3203

I also emailed trpartpartreplacement(at)toyodagoset(dot)com. They replied that they would send me a bunch of new labels.

So hopefully I don't have to hold on to them for ever.

No core, not getting paid to process, no desire to return.
