Returning new, damaged parts

Greetings...50 years in the automobile trades, 6 months in GM parts. Thrown in the deep end of the pool and have been teaching myself as I go. Doing okay so far.

Two headlamps NIB with ears broken off. I did the "Submit Cust Exception" on PW+. Printed PC302s and labels, and sent them off. Looks like one was excepted, the other got me a Material Returns Notification declining the claim for lack of information.

Now the parts are at the PDC and I'm trying to get the documents corrected so I can get reimbursed.

Would like the cliff notes and or details for returning new, damaged parts. I look at different places, talk to different people, and get different - or maybe incomplete - details. Mailing documents, submitting documents, PC659...

Thanks

you have to claim them as damaged fill in all the boxes including date code (thats the one i usually forget) I have found you have to do a claim for each part using different application numbers.
been GM since 1984 you can call me if you want I don't have all the answers but might be able to help you our.

i have been told to put condition of the box in comment section also by my PDC. ex. " box good" or "box damaged". have had a couple declined just for not putting that in comments.

This is on the PC659?

I can do one of those belatedly, how do I get it into the hands of the people who need it?
