We’ve just started to complete the in house vehicle recalls. It’s been a real PITA for the techs to complete the recall as the software has failed a few times. Has anyone seen any fail the scope test yet? I have only handed out a few new oil caps, new filter and new oil.

We have had just one so far. This recall seems sketchy, at best. If I'm reading them correctly, the ones we replace engines on get to KEEP the 0w20, and the rest change to 0w40. Are they hoping that 0w40 gets the owners over the warranty hump?

Just did one on a used vehicle.
Still don't understand how there are multiple versions of a recall for the same issue?
The real question is has anybody been able to get 0W40?

I was able to get my hands on a 0w40 Supercar drum. We have done 3 vehicles so far. the drum will handle 27 altogether.

My distributor says the drum I ordered 3 weeks ago should be in between the 22nd and 27th.

A few around us are buying it at the parts stores. (Remember the PF63 shortage?)

How can I forget
I tried my 3 aftermarket vendors when it first dropped a few weeks ago they were already all out.
I've heard people trying to get cases of quarts off Amazon but the price is jacked and I think they are pretty much out of it as well...
