Hi,

Our local insurance companies like to strong arm us into putting used parts on customers cars. (and they try real hard to not let the customer know about it) It's bad enough that they do this with fascia's, but lately thay are wanting us to install used engine cradles, wheels, and even steering knuckles. I would like to gather as much information as I can about how to combat this problem.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Note on repair order used part. Document on
where parts purchased who at insurance
company authorized used part repalacement.
Copies of all invoices and estimate sheet from insurance company. NOTIFY CUSTOMER
BEFORE WORK IS STARTED THAT THE INSURANCE
COMPANY WANTS TO USE USED PARTS ON THEIR
EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CAR!!! PLUS HOW MUCH
IS YOUR PREMIUM PER YEAR. People who have
their car insurance through one company
might also have their home life etc.
Let the customer yell at the insurance
company.
