GM - Dealer to dealer - Canada to U.S.

We are GM dealer in Canada.
Any U.S. GM dealers out there have experience buying parts (obsolete or otherwise) from Canadian GM dealer?
Trying to gage the pros and cons of. Any thoughts?
Have some old/open box/non returnable/changed up part number stuff to try to move. South of border if necessary.

Also, would like to know how I can get U.S. dealer pricing on GM parts? So I know what I am up against.
