We were recently allowed by gm to charge retail parts prices for warranty repairs. As you know, the original labor op line can only have a cost+40% markup. Our parts dept. is charging out the parts with the increased markup gm has allowed us on the original labor op.line. Has anyone with an ADP system figured a realatively easy way to breakout the additional markup to the single labor op.line T5999 so all parties concerned,ie., parts people, booker, warr.clerk, accounting have a minimum amount of added work? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!Neil H,Bill Sullivan Pontiac,847-392-6660,ext142.email,nwh28@aol.com

newh28,

The only way you are going to be able to do this is to set up a separate labor type for your T5999 op code. Call the labor type "WT5999" and then you can attach a specific labor amount and retail price code to it. There is no way, to my knowledge, that you can set up a price code based on a labor op. All parts pricing is attached and driven by the labor type.
